I’m the proud founder and primary bookkeeper of Clarity Works. For the past 12 years I’ve owned and operated a service-based business, where part of my role was bookkeeping. I learned that good bookkeeping is about much more than making sure the numbers add up.

It's about understanding why the numbers look the way they do and knowing what to do with that information.

I've also worked in nonprofit data management, where I've seen firsthand how much better decisions can be when the right information is organized, accessible, and easy to understand.

I like data-driven solutions.

I'm naturally curious. Data, reports, spreadsheets prompt the question:

"Is there a better way to look at this?"

Sometimes the answer is a new report. Sometimes it's a different way to organize the data. Sometimes it's simply finding the right question to ask.

I don't believe financial information has to be complicated to be useful. My approach is to look for practical ways to turn your numbers into information you can actually use.
